Turbofiner Type PLM

 

Production of fine powders with a narrow particle size distribution from soft to medium hard and heat sensitive materials.

Method of Operation

Material is fed into the grinding chamber with a screw feeder and is pulverized inside the grinding chamber in a high activity whirl created between the stationary and rotating grinding elements of the mill.

Due to the high air volume particles are impacted against each other and get micronized. Even heat sensitive materials stay cool during the grinding process. An internal classifier rejects coarse material, which is fed back into the grinding chamber, where as the fine product is pneumatically conveyed into a filter bag.
