The
Rotorcutter is used for the production of cut
cubes from frozen meat, offal, fish, fruit and
vegetables.
In
a process, patented by PALLMANN, it is possible to
process whole blocks as well as precut materials from
frozen products. Size reduction of the material fed by
the ton is performed in a continuous process with a high
throughput capacity.
The produced,
cubed-shaped end product, stands out due to a very low
percentage of fines in comparison to traditional
processes (such as size reduction with conventional
knife mills).

Constant
product quality is also achievable with fluctuating
material temperature. The product size reduced with
this process looks more appealing to the customer in its
finished packaging.
Due to the
available high throughput capacities, new ways can be
taken in the industrial preparation of cut products.
Various conventional production systems can
be substituted by on Rotorcutter system which leads to
considerable savings in production costs. During the
batch feeding process the downstream system components
are fed with material quicker which results in
considerable time savings.
The
system can be cleaned without any problem with water or
steam jet at the end of the shift or when changing
products. A change to production to different cube
dimensions is quickly attainable due to a
frequency-controlled drive unit and a hydraulic exchange
of the knife carrier system.
If materials
should be cut into strips or slices, the Rotorcutter can
be easily retrofit. The fields of application for the
Rotorcutter are found in the meat industry, ice cream,
fruit juices and the processing of all kinds of
vegetables.
