Turbo Mill, type REF
Pulverizing , fiberizing, crushing, mixing and blending
of soft, brittle, tough, elastic, smearing, hygroscopic,
heat sensitive, fatty, creasy and oily materials, in dry
or wet condition.
Method of Operation
Turbo Mills, type REF are attrition
and impact mills. The
material is centrically fed into the V-shaped grinding chamber.
The particles are speeded up by a fast rotating impeller.
Size reduction is done by impact and friction and high frequency
air whirling. Baffle rings of different inner diameter
determine the air throughput and how long the material will stay
in the machine, thus influencing the degree of size reduction.
