Drum Shredder, type PTR
Size reduction of chemical base materials,
salts, minerals, lumpy products at high throughput rates
Method of Operation
The
material is fed to the drum shredder from above
via an inlet chute. A rotor,
equipped with sturdy beaters, crushes the
material on a counter comb. If a maximum
particle size is required, the drum shredder is
equipped with a screen grate underneath the
rotor whose hole size determines the particle
size. Material is discharged to below through
the screen. |
