Method of Operation The pipe waste can be fed horizontally and without precutting into the feed trough. The feed trough has a hydraulic operated lid which is closed after the unit is filled with material. A positive feed advance system pushes the material load into the cutting chamber. Different advance systems available depending on the application. The material is granulated between the rotor knives and the bed knives. The size of the granule depends on the screen mesh.
