Granulation of sprues and runners right
under the press
Method of Operation
Sprues and runners are fed into the
cutting chamber with a large diameter auger. Even bulky material
will be accepted thru the large feed opening. granulation takes place
between the knives of a low rpm slant-cut rotor. The size of the
granules depends on the hole size of the built in screen. The granules
are discharged into a collecting bin and can be conveyed back to the
injection molding machine.
