Pallmann Maschinenfabrik presents itself at the Plast 2003 exhibition in Milan with a representative cross-section of its capacity in manufacturing machines and systems for size reduction and preparation of plastics of all kinds.
Pallmann will show a Disc Mill, type PKM 800 for the pulverization of plastic granules. The mill distinguishes itself by a high throughput rate in connection with an excellent product quality. Improvements in construction make it possible that the mill is used more and more for the pulverization of difficult materials such as EVA, polypropylene, polyamid, polyester, polycarbonate or master batches.
A Plast Agglomerator System, type PFV 315 is shown for the agglomeration field. All thermoplastics as well as composites can be continuously processed in the same system. A flowable granule of high consistency and bulk density is achieved with hardly measurable thermal damage. |  | The highlight at the Plast 2003 exhibition will be a mill of the new PM series. This type of machine is suitable for processing large production amounts as well as for the preparation of small charges. The mill can be easily integrated into existing production lines due to a new, almost maintenance-free drive concept, frameless design and compact construction. Material can be discharged either upwards or laterally. The mill can be easily cleaned and changes in the grinding gap can be made quickly and precisely.
