| The year 2003 is of historical meaning for PALLMANN company. 100 years ago, PALLMANN company was founded out of a milling company. At the exhibition LignaPlus 2003, PALLMANN will be exhibiting its proven flaking system, PZKR - PZSE, consisting of the knife ring flaker and the sharpening- and setting robot.
The knife ring flaker is using the well proven patented counter rotating principle for optimum use of the wear parts, guaranteeing uniform high quality flakes. The sharpening- and setting robot automatically resets and re-sharpens the knives of the ring flaker with highest precision to the required knife protrusion. The labour costs in the sharpening room are reduced considerably, in comparison to the conventional method of setting and sharpening, as the knife packets do not have to be disassembled from the ring. |  | For the production of finest fibers for the MDF industry, PALLMANN supplies all components necessary for the production and cleaning of fibers from the Drum Chipper for chip production to the Pressurized Refining System,. The newly developed Chip Washing System is something special in this respect. The Chip Washing System is integrated into the Refiner system and is connected in series in front of the pressure defiberizer and guarantees clean feed material. Chip washing protects downstream components from damage by foreign objects and simultaneously separates clinging mineral elements. PALLMANN company has been studying the debarking of round wood for the wood yard technology. PALLMANN manufactures rotor debarkers, type PRD, which are already operating successfully. The PALLMANN debarker is a modular system, consisting of the feeding module and the outlet module. Additional modules can be installed depending on the required throughput rate and the consistency of the feed material.
The logs are debarked by the main rotor which peals the bark off the log in combination with the friction of the individual logs. PALLMANN is increasingly treading the path as a complete system supplier, with a new project management and engineering services department.
