Pre-Crushing
& Pulverizing of Resins
Synthetic resins are
chemically produced and are available in large chunks.
For further processing they have to be pre-crushed or
possibly pulverized.
Resins are used as base
material in lacquers and paints. The automobile
industry uses resins as a bonding agent during
production of material for brake liners and the
electronic board industry produces printed circuit
boards in combination with fiberglass and fillers
Through the preparation, an
increase surface area is achieved, therefore minimizing
the reaction time in downstream processing steps.
Pre-crushing of the chinks is performed by means of
Cam Breakers,
type PBD, possible pulverizing, depending on the
characteristics required of the resin, is performed by
Universal Mills, type PX
or with screen-less
Turbo
Mills, type REF.
