Inside Sales / Customer Service / Logistics Specialist

 

Location: Clifton, New Jersey - USA

 

This position will have the following qualifications and responsibilities:

 

Qualifications:

 

1.       Customer service experience of at least 5 years

2.       Worked with European suppliers

3.       Understands order fulfillment processes

4.       Meets commitments

5.       Worked and Understands Return authorization Processes

6.       Purchasing experience or Order placement

7.       Well organized, takes pride in work

8.       Team player and good communicator, good phone skills and customer management skills

9.       Computer skills to include MS office products, CRM & ERP Systems, Inventory management systems, freight and shipment tracking systems

10.   Freight and logistics experience – Arrange for pickup shipment packaging, etc…

11.   Import / Export experience to include all paper work requirements for NAFTA, EU countries

12.   Worked with freight forwarders

13.   Understands International shipping and commercial terms

14.   German speaking a plus

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.       Main point of contact on customer order status with:

a.       Customer

b.       Field Sales Rep

c.       Sales Management

2.       Provide delivery dates and revised delivery dates to the above

3.       Communication and management of customer delivery problems

4.       Main point of contact for parts procurement

a.       Maintains inventory

b.       Places parts order with source supplier

c.       Maintain up to date delivery status on order in process

d.       Return of pars to suppliers

5.       Works with warehouseman to resolve problems which include

a.       Shipment or paperwork issues

b.       Incorrect parts shipped

c.       Incorrect incoming parts received

6.       Lead person on Return Authorization process for customer orders back to Pallmann Industries.

7.       Works with accounting to resolve any invoicing , payment, return authorization issue

8.       Coordination and communication with field group on any customer service issues

9.       Produces reports for in-time deliveries:

a.       For customer orders

b.       For supplier performance

10.   Produces customer satisfaction reports
