 Method of Operation
The
material is fed via an airlock into the hot air
stream and the mill. A distribution wheel takes
the air-material mix and distributes it evenly
across the circumference of the grinding zone.
Size
reduction is performed in high turbulent airflow
by micro whirls. The pulverized material is
pneumatically transported. The degree of
pulverization is determined by the retention
time of the material in the mill, depending on
the air volume, as well as the speed of the
rotor and the type of grinding elements. |
