Granulation of Flooring Products PALLMANN delivers complete systems for the floor-covering industry. We offer well proven concepts for the preparation of defined granules for the VCT and homogeneous, direction-free floor covering industry.
Homogeneous granules with narrow particle size distribution are necessary for the production of floor coverings, especially tiles from high density PVC as well as with floor coverings from rubber.  For applications of this type, PALLMANN developed, in close cooperation with the floor covering industry, complete systems consisting of special knife mills with downstream screening machines. Sheets or skeletons from calender with very good material characteristics are processed into free-flowing granules with PALLMANN know-how.
The end product size can be easily defined by choosing a suitable screen. The machines stand out due to sturdy design, high throughput rate and easy maintenance.  PALLMANN has developed a new machine for the size reduction of hot PVC slabs for a well-known floor-covering manufacturer in the USA.
The hot material coming from the kneader is emptied into a storage bin and is transported into a special rotor via a load-controlled swing. The desired particle size can be determined by choosing a suitable screen insert. Depending of the mixture, filler can be added during the size reduction process. |
