Inert grinding installations

By operating the installation with inert gases like N2 or CO2 the ignition of inflammable powders can be avoided. Re-cooling of the process gas takes place in a closed loop system. Modern measuring and monitoring techniques guarantee a safe operation below the limit of the allowable concentration of oxygen.

Explosion proof grinding installations

For the production of explosive and heavily reacting powders, explosion proof installations as well as installations with explosion suppression systems are used. Special design of the installation combined with the arrangement of pressure relief valves in the system prevent spreading out to other downstream equipment or to adjacent buildings in case of an explosion.
