PALLMANN is a leader in the
production of coating powders which are normally very
difficult to pulverize due to their high MFR.
These
thermoplastics, typically LDPE, EVA, PA and PET, exist,
for example, in melted form, in our clothing, where
fleece material and humidity impeding membranes are
processed. Furthermore, they are used for coating
of metal objects such as clothes hangers and baskets for
freezers and the backside of carpets in vehicles.

in Europe, USA, Japan and Brazil use this quality
powders in carpet backing coatings to stabilize and
maintain their shape.
Ambient
Grinding
The special design of the
PALLMANN mills, such as the
Turbo Mill type PP, allows granules from PE, PS, EVA
and other plastics to be pulverized at ambient
temperature into coating powders.
Cryogenic
Pulverizing
Cryogenic pulverizing
systems with inert gas atmosphere are used for extreme
heat-sensitive materials as well as for obtaining an
exceptionally high fineness.
 PALLMANN
has developed the technology in their own custom
processing facilities and offers standard cryogenic
pulverizing systems in compact design for polyester,
polyamide, EVA, elastomers, copolymers, synthetic rubber
and other heat-sensitive materials which must be
pre-cooled with liquid nitrogen in order to become
brittle. The granules can be pulverized in
Pin Mills, type PST
and PPST to fine
particles below 100 micron. These powders are
employed in the processing of high quality textiles.
