Granulation
For the economical size reduction of blebs and
rejects, occurring during the blow molding process, PALLMANN offers
specially developed Ultra-Granulators , Series
K and
H. A compact
design and integrated sound insulation allow installation directly next to
the production machine or as a centrally located unit.
Recycling of Bottle Waste
After
repeated use, the common plastic bottles that are widely used today can be
utilized for a different purpose after appropriate preparation. Depending
on the preparation, the bottles are used for the production of fibers or preforms for the bottle industry.
PALLMANN offers specially developed knife mills
for the preparation of plastic bottles. Wear protection as well as robust
and reliable construction of the machine is what matters. Cutting geometry
and long knife life is of utmost importance. PALLMANN puts special emphasis
on maintenance friendliness.
Method of Operation
The bottles shredded into chips are washed,
cleaned from glue, paper, film, and foreign objects.
After the drying process the chips are processed
into reusable, free flowing agglomerates with the ORIGINAL PALLMANN
Plast-Agglomerator system.
The special characteristic of the agglomeration
process is that the IV-value of the PET material is only minimally
decreased. The material is insignificantly exposed to thermal stress during
agglomeration. The material is simultaneously crystallized, therefore
eliminating the need for a crystallizing process before further processing.
